JUCY Milford Sound day tour

Early in the morning, you are picked up by your transfer to bring you to Milford Sound on one of the most scenic routes in New Zealand, Milford Road. Along the way, you’ll stop in Te Anau for a quick coffee break. Later, you’ll see the Mirror Lakes and say hello to the cheeky Kea birds at the Homer Tunnel. 

After boarding your JUCY Cruise, you’re allocated a designated table by the staff to ensure everyone stays in their bubble. This is also where your lunch will be served. The boat is capped at 30% occupancy to ensure you can safely move around with plenty of space.

On the viewing deck, look out for the locals: fur seals soaking up the sun on the rocks and dolphins playing in the water, sometimes racing along with the boat. And with some luck, you might even spot the shy Fiordland Crested Penguin.

Fiordland is famous for its massive amount of rain. But make no mistake, the rain only brings out the true beauty of Milford Sound. The more it rains, the more waterfalls tumble over the towering mountains into the sea, turning the Sound into a mystical and misty wonderland.

Miss Lucy’s Bar & Pizzeria is where you get your complimentary breakfast and later at night maybe a beer and woodfire pizza. Other restaurants, bars and Lake Wakatipu are also only a stroll away, the Skyline Gondola even only 200m. You couldn’t find a more central Queenstown accommodation for your budget.
