Do you want to get away, relax in a spa but can’t stand the thought of leaving your fur-baby at home? Just take your pet along on a pet-friendly getaway to Rotorua. 

An open secret, Secret Spot is located on the outskirts of Rotorua next to the mountain bike entrance to Whakarewarewa Forest. Tucked away from the outside world, a peaceful, lush-green sanctuary awaits. 12 cedar hot tubs look into the forest and towards the entrance, you find a licenced cafe with complimentary shinny dips (foot baths) with your drink. 

If you feel like a glass of bubbly while sitting in your hot tub, just push the button and one of the friendly staff rocks up to take your order. You won’t ever have to leave your tub (in the 45 minutes of your soaking session, that is)

At Secret Spot Rotorua, well-behaved dogs are more than welcome. You can take your dog right up to your designated cedar tub and have them relaxing next to the tub while you soak in the warm water.
