Luxury Glamping with PurePods – Your stay at Pāmu PurePod

PurePods are dotted on rural properties all over New Zealand. They’re all about slowing down and truly connecting with nature. All PurePods are glass cabins set in a private, secluded spot, designed so you can soak up the landscape by day and the star-filled skies by night, without giving up your creature comforts.

Just 10 minutes from Rotorua’s bustling CBD, the Pāmu PurePod offers a surprising shift of pace. True to its name – “pāmu” means farm – this glass cabin is set on rolling farmland, where sheep and cattle graze quietly in the fields around you. To get there, you’ll leave your car and take a short 5–10 minute walk across open paddocks before reaching your private hideaway.

From the Pure Pod, the views are wide and open, stretching across fields and out to the hills beyond. Sunrise is particularly beautiful here, with low mist often drifting over the land and catching the first light of day. At night, the stars spill across the sky… a sight you rarely see so close to a city.

The location is ideal if you want to combine peace with easy access to Rotorua’s many attractions. Spend the day exploring geothermal wonders, mountain biking through the Whakarewarewa Forest, or soaking in the region’s natural hot pools. Then return to your own farm retreat, where everything slows down.
