Experience the ultimate Kaituna River experience during your Rotorua getaway!
Enjoy a full day of fun, white water, rapids and waterfalls! In the morning, you’re picked up by Kaitiaki Adventures who will bring you to their base and gear you up with wetsuits, life vests and paddles.

After the briefing, the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world is waiting for you! The white water rafting experience takes you over grade 5 rapids and smaller waterfalls before your raft drops over “the big one”. Tutea Falls is a whopping 7 meters high and the only way to get past it is to go over it

In the afternoon, go and grab your river sledging gear and off you go, down the river on eye level with the water. Rapids will make your pulse rise, interchanging with relaxing floats and splashing fun.
