Downhill ball-rolling at ZORB Rotorua

Downhill ball rolling is a strange phenomenon…You superman-jump into a giant, inflatable ball with water and they push you down the hill. What sounds a little strange is actually super fun for the whole family! 

ZORB was invented in Rotorua and is still operated by the original owners. 

Sitting relaxed in one of their spa pools, you wait until it’s your turn to roll down the hill. There are four tracks to choose from. For the family, we picked the straight track to start off. After this first round you got the hang of the zorb, ready to tackle the Sidewinder, ZORB’s zig zag track.

Warm up in Polynesian Spa’s family pool

Best just keep your togs on after the rolling fu as you head across town to Polynesian Spa.

Hot pools are a family favourite for sure! Especially if they’re geothermally heated and come with a water slide! What else could you ask for! 

After a fun time sightseeing on land and water, warm up in Polynesian Spa’s family pool area. Here, the kids can jump and splash as much as they like while the adults soak in the warm water. 

The Polynesian Spa family pool has a toddler section, a large freshwater pool and two thermal pools. The family pools are fully lifeguarded at all times.
